FAQs / Help

How do I use my DigiTickets?

You will be emailed an order confirmation that will include your unique Booking Reference Number and a barcode that also contains this number. You may make a note of this number and take with you when you visit Seaton Tramway in place of a ticket, although we suggest printing out the email as this will contain a barcode which will grant you quicker access.

Do you issue refunds?

We do not issue refunds, except in the event of Seaton Tramway needing to cancel or amend your booking.

What happens when I buy a ticket online?

On completion of your order, you will be emailed a DigiTicket containing a barcode and booking reference number. Present this ticket on arrival, or if you don’t have a printer, simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number.

I don't have a printer...

You do not have to print out the 8 digit booking reference – simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number and take it with you, coupled with some ID or show us the booking number on your Smart Phone when you arrive.

How long will the trip last for?

The journey between Seaton and Colyton and vice versa takes approximately 25 minutes. If you have purchased an Explorer ticket, you can travel as many times in the day as you wish, providing you are wearing the wristband which will be issued to you and have a valid ticket with you at all times.

What time should I arrive?

You must arrive 5 minutes before your trip starts.  Please report to the Ticket Office with your ticket and we will direct you to your tram. Don’t worry, if you miss one tram, another will be along within 20-30 minutes.

Is Car Parking available?

A Pay & Display car park is available at Seaton operated by East Devon District Council and there may be limited parking here from May 2014 due to the construction of the new Seaton Jurassic Centre. The recommended time for a return tram trip is at least 3 hours, longer at peak periods. A cheaper car park is available (£1.50 for 4 hours) across the Underfleet road before entering the Co-op car park.
